I've attached 2 photos, I also have another batch at its dark greeny blue for some reason. No idea why. I'm just trying to get the crystals right, last time I just had solid mass which didn't look crystally at all. I'll show a photo of this too shortly. 2.5cm is the layer I've gone with.

I've read it about 40 times haha, was hoping to get a nice conversation going and people share their method and the outcome. I hope I get crystals, I'm using acetone instead of Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or ethanol solution, is that okay?

My question is, I know of someone who for obvious reasons remains private and also wont just share his setup details but from conversations where he has mentioned things by accident about how he functions I've come to realise he works very unorthodox in the way that he doesn't use chemistry...

I believe people refer to this as lean or LEAN, is that right? I've been asked a few times if this is something I can get hold of. I've just never delved into this side of things so don't have an understanding. Am I right in thinking it's referred to as LEAN though?

So when I mix 2b4m with dcm I heat it to 40c for two hours, then after 2 hours I mix with methyloamine slowly and then mix for another 2 hours? Is this right?

I'm confused now, can you explain more please, when do I mix with dcm and heat to 40 for 2 hour. I thought the powder will dissolve if I mix with water?

Okay thank you, I will change the amount to 200ml. I will wash more. Does everything else look okay in the recipe to you? I feel like I am not doing it correctly.

Hopefully tomorrow when I put the mixture through the filter I get powder. If I don't get any powder then I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Okay I will put all of the mixture from the bottle into a container then I will put in freezer. I will leave in freezer for 12 hours? Or more? Then I will get filter and get rid of the liquid which will leave me with powder.
