Question some basic washing in microscale questions

Hello,

I have some questions

1.) is 99% IPA from pharmacy not 'lab quality?'
1a.) how long do you cure washed methampetamine, lets say in room temp? does anyone use heat lamp?
1b.) what does geranium smell like? asked bunch of folks and no one seems to know!

2.) to make anhydrogenous acetone, use magnesium sulphate aka bath salts put them in (have it in my note @ x temp + y time)
is that process doable in either

i. microwave
ii high temp control toaster oven
This would be for micro synthesis situation, not large qty.

2a.) would baking of bath salt create distinctive / noxious/ noticeable odor?

Bath salt means something else. EPSOM SALT you can bake and use that way, but there's a process. 3a molecular sieve and you can salt the water out are 2 other ways to dry it.
99%iPad is not lab quality. Reagent grade is the lowest "lab quality" that 1% water hurts more than you probably realize. When you read patents and peer reviewed science, they buy reagent grade chems and then distill those to achieve serious purity
